As soon as you meet Corinne Cordon and her son Matthew Dale, the owners of Capella Mortgage, you’ll learn that family means everything to them! Corinne has been in the mortgage industry since 1997 and in Private Lending since 2002. At the same time, Matt was learning the ins and outs of the business over the years.
Corinne Cordon is the founder and the Chairman of the Board for Capella Mortgage. She has a B.S. in Business Admin/MIS from UNLV, and she started her career in IT, building systems on small business computers to serve the business community. After 8 years of IT, she moved on to Citibank, N.A., learned the credit card business for 8 years, and then started originating loans in the Las Vegas Valley in 1996.
Seeing growth potential, she added expertise in commercial lending through the CCIM program, residential lending with Desktop Underwriter, and hard money lending. Corinne has extensive experience in hard money lending, computer programming, systems & financial analysis, and she designed the origination software her company uses to handle a large volume of complex loans.

My name is Elaine Manolakos and I am proud to assist Capela Mortgage Corp with Investor Relations, Human Resources, Fund Analysis for the Opportunity Fund and direct Assistant to Matthew Dale. My background consists of Management and Operations Management for small and mid sized companies. The highlight of my every day duties is talking with our investors and making sure they have everything they need to be successful within their Capella investments. Although I absolutely love what I do and all our investors; my ultimate goal in life is to have non-profits to assist people nationwide and maybe one day worldwide.
My name is Marsix Zazueta, and I have been a part of the Capella family for about 10 years. I am the Senior Loan Processor here at Capella and love helping our clients work through our process to cross the finish line on our closings. As well as helping with all our Spanish speakers. I have lived in Las Vegas almost all my life. I am a proud mother of 5 beautiful children ranging from 18 months to 9 years old. I’m married to my best friend who I have known since I was 5 years old. In my free time I love to read and travel, especially being outdoors. My family and I have visited 44 of the 50 United States. I truly enjoy being a part of the team! Let’s work together and let me help you process the loan that’s right for you.
I came to Capella Mortgage in 2015 as the receptionist, 6 months later, I was promoted to the post-closing department, a position I am proud to still be in. I have managed this department since then. I moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles, California 23 years ago with my 3 beautiful children who are now 3 grown adults. My career did not start in the lending industry, when I first moved to Las Vegas, I was a property inspector for a small company. It was the best way to get to know the city. Soon after that, I was set on a career path in Administration in Early Childhood Education. Although I will always have a passion for Education, I found a new passion here with my Capella Family. I have had the opportunity to always serve my community in some way. Sometimes it was as a tutor, other times as a catechist teacher in our church community, and other times as a Girl Scout Troop Leader. Providing customer service to the families of our growing communities has been something I have enjoyed doing for quite some time now. My family has always been my top priority. I found it to be a blessing to find colleagues who I consider some of my closest friends, who share the same values at home and in the office. We work as a unit to help all our customers and investors the only way we know how, and that is the Capella way.
My name is Isis Guzman, I’m a Capella Mortgage Loan Officer and Post-Closing assistant. I have been part of the Capella team for 2-years and feel very lucky to be a part of such an amazing group. I am a mother of 2 boys and have been married to my husband for 22 years. I am highly devoted to my family as they are my top priority in life and when I’m not working you can find me with them. In addition, I love to cook, for me it’s a form of expressing my love. Before Capella I was a Loan Officer for personal loans for 14 years, which opened my interest in the Real Estate business in hopes of one day becoming an agent or Mortgage Loan Officer. In my time with Capella, I have learned a lot and enjoy taking on new challenges and responsibilities with each new role. In the last year, I also became a notary in the state of Nevada, finally, I am a self-motivated and dedicated individual who loves helping others and I believe highly in the satisfaction of our customers with each interaction.
